Another Two
Of all fourteen actors on stage at New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion last Saturday, two were outstanding: Lynne Fitzgerald and Louis Emerick. The other dozen were just… well… Lynne Fitzgerald and Louis Emerick.
I never tire of watching these two talented character actors in action. And in fact this was the third time of watching them perform Jim Cartwright’s wonderful play Two.
All that needs to be said about the skilful way they switched from one character to another throughout this play, has been said in my previous reviews. (Click here to read)
Lynne is a brilliant comedy actress, director and writer who is prolific on the Merseyside theatre scene. Louis Emerick Grant can also be seen all over the North West in anything from panto to serious dramatic roles and well as popping up on the box in the likes of Mersey Beat, Doctors and Casualty. Notably, he spent twelve years playing Mick Johnson in Brookside. If ever you see their name on a billboard or cast list, you can be sure of a first class evening’s entertainment.
