Duckmarine or Submarine?
For years the now famous Yellow Duckmarine has been taking tourists sight-seeing around the streets of Liverpool before waddling down the jetty to make a big splash with its passengers by sailing them around the Albert Dock.
During its life as an amphibious tour bus the poor old Yellow Duckmarine must have had something of an identity crisis. It muct have thought to itself: “Am I a bus or a duck?”

To add to its confusion, its daily wet and dry journey has been done to the sound of Ringo Starr singing “We all live in a Yellow Submarine“.
Poor old Duck Bus was constantly exposed to the words “And we lived beneath the waves, In our yellow submarine...”
And so today, old Duck Bus decided she would find out what it must be like to be a real submarine and sank to the bottom of the Albert Dock, turning the trip into a bit of a damp squid for the 31 passengers on board.
Rescue services were quickly on the scene but not before they all had to swim back to dry land!
